As the Managing Broker for La Costa Resort Real Estate, Rusty is responsible for overseeing $100 million in San Diego County homes and properties each year. He brings a wealth of experience to this position, having served as Managing Broker for more than five years at the La Costa Resort Villas at La Costa Resort and Spa, as well as at its sister property, Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage. During his tenure at both resort properties, he was responsible for more than $120 million in sales and leasing of luxury condominium and vacation rental homes.

In 2001, as Director of Leasing, he had managed hundreds of high-end vacation homes at The La Quinta Resort and Club and the La Quinta Resort Home project. As an employee of KSL—the parent company of all three resorts as well as La Costa Resort Real Estate—Rusty has garnered more than a decade of real estate expertise, and has held a variety of management, operations, leasing and sales positions with the company since 1998.

After earning a Bachelors Degree in Finance in 1993, he began his professional career as a Special Project Asset Technician with the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC)/Landmark Land Company of California, Inc., where he specialized in asset disposition, office relocation and property management.
